Wine of the Week
Domaine Grand, Trousseau, Côtes du Jura, France, 2013
It is needless to say that Burgundy produces some of the world’s most distinctive and alluring wines. But tip-toe just east, close to the Swiss border, and you’ll discover the Jura—a region of France that produces wines with their own inimitable character. Domain Grand’s Trousseau is just such an example. An elegant red with refreshing levity, it has a gem-like quality when caught in light. Its heady, floral aromatics are followed by notes of cranberry and rosehips on the palette. A terrific value for Jura.
